2011 Year Four
1) Plan to grow 8 acres of vegetables for the less fortunate who live among us.
2) Involve consumers (those in need who receive the free produce) in the "by hand harvesting" of all donated produce. Each will harvest for their pantry, soup kitchen and like organizations.
3) Plan to grow several acres and offer U-Pick vegetables in which consumers will harvest for their needs and pay a small fee for each container harvested.
4) Plan to raise vegetables for resale to offset a portion of operational costs.
5) Plan to continue OWH with assistance (helping process 20 cord of tree length wood) of those who received free firewood during the 2010/2011 winter season.
